Gennaro De Libero is Professor of Immunology at the University of Basel. He has been a member of the Basel Institute for Immunology, of the Singapore Immunology Network, founder and Past President of the Basel Immunology Association, and founder of the Upper Rhine Immunology Group. The main scientific interest has been focused on TCR γδ, CD1-restricted, MAIT, and MR1T cells, including identifying novel classes of recognized antigens, the role of these cells in human diseases, and their therapeutic use.
