Francois Legoux

Inserm Researcher & Head of the Host-Microbiota Interactions Lab
University of Rennes, France

Francois is an Inserm researcher and head of the host-microbiota interactions lab at the University of Rennes, France. His early work focused on the formation of the T cell repertoire (PhD in the Bonneville lab, University of Nantes, France) and T cell tolerance to self-antigens (Postdoc in the Moon lab, Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Boston). As a MSCA postdoctoral fellow in the Lantz lab (Institut Curie, Paris), he made key contributions to our understanding of how MAIT cells develop and take up residency in tissues. His lab now investigates MAIT cell functions and interactions with the microbiota in the colon.
