Chyung-Ru Wang, PhD is a Professor of Microbiology-Immunology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She earned her B.S. from National Taiwan University and her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by postdoctoral research at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where she began studying MHC class Ib molecules. Dr. Wang's lab investigates the selection and regulation of group 1 and group 2 CD1-restricted T cells during development and their roles in autoimmunity, tumor immunity, and infectious disease. Her team also explores the immune functions of other MHC class Ib molecules, including H2-M3 and Qa-1.
