Branch Moody serves as a physician at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Professor at Harvard Medical School, where his laboratory studies presentation of lipid antigens by human CD1 proteins.  Current work emphasizes solving a human CD1 lipidome that comprehensively detects cellular lipids bound to CD1 proteins.  We seek to discern general patterns of lipid capture and display to T cells and use synthetic lipids to augment and block CD1-mediated immune responses as therapies.
