Annemieke de Jong is the George Henry Fox Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York. Her lab investigates the functions and lipid specificities of human CD1-restricted T cells. In particular, her lab is interested in CD1a and its role in regulating T cell responses to skin bacteria, as well as in promoting inflammatory and allergic skin disease. Most recently, her lab has been investigating the activation of CD1-restricted T cells in skin malignancies.
